 This equipment is consisted with gantry frame, hanging type welding heads, flux feeding&recovering system, mechanical tracking system and so on. The hanging type welding head is rotatable, the welding position and angle can be adjusted easily.

3,  Introduction of components

3.1、Description of devices

l   The walking gantry frame: It is finish machining after welding and destressing. It’s driven by AC motor and reduced by reducer, then it realize the welding walk, the walking speed is controlled by frequency converter,  step-less speed regulating, welding speed can be precisely controlled.

l   Carriage: carriage is installed on the beam, to drive the guide pillar moving on the beam. There are 8 groups of guide wheels on carriage, contact with beam and guide pillar, 4 groups of them are eccentric gears.

l  Guide pillar: it’s fixed on the carriage by guide wheels, it moves up and down, driven by the reducer.

l  Protection device: there is a ladder on the side of machine, which helps to climb. To confirm workers safety, there is a guard railing on top of machine.

l  Grounding type: earth cable (The cable is provided by user) Here we use friction conductive method, which highly reduce the required cable length.

3.2、Welding system

l  Welding head: it is a special welding head H-beam of Huayuan, which has patent. It adopts double rotation with mechanical tracking device, designed basically on arms. There are rotation devices, locking devices, up-down floating mechanism, flux feeding&recovering device, tracking wheels, conductive devices and so on. The locking device on top of welding head locks the head and workpiece, make the welding head remain on same welding position, improve the welding quality.  The rotation device of the welding head also make the back and forth welding be possible, very easy to operate.

3.3,  Control system

It’s centralized controlled, include the gantry frame, welding heads, flux feeding and recovering system,the welding power source and so on. The welding process is automatic, there is a scram button. The welding speed is controlled by frequency converter, digital displayed, easy to check and operate.
